Make Money Make Sense respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, why, and what your rights are.
Who we are
Make Money Make Sense is a sole trader business. For any privacy questions, contact us at hello@makemoneymakesense.org.
The product and your data
The One Afternoon Reset is a browser-based tool. The financial information you enter into the app (subscriptions, costs, renewal dates, and similar) is stored locally in your own browser on your own device. It is not sent to us, and we never see it. We have no database of your financial details. If you clear your browser data, that information is removed.
Information we do collect
- Email address — if you sign up for our free guide or newsletter, we collect your email to send you the guide and occasional related emails. This is handled through our email provider, MailerLite.
- Purchase information — if you buy a product, our payment provider processes your payment and shares limited transaction details (such as your email and order information) with us so we can deliver the product and provide support. We do not store your card details; these are handled entirely by the payment provider.
- Basic website analytics — we may collect anonymous, aggregated information about how the site is used. We also use a location-detection service to show prices in your local currency; this reads your approximate region and is not stored.
How we use your information
- To deliver the products and free guides you request.
- To send emails you have agreed to receive.
- To respond to your questions and provide support.
- To process payments and refunds.
We do not sell your personal data to anyone.
Legal basis
We process your data on the basis of your consent (for marketing emails), to perform a contract (to deliver a product you have bought), and our legitimate interests (to run and improve the business). You can withdraw consent at any time.
Email marketing
If you join our list, you can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email, or by emailing hello@makemoneymakesense.org. We use MailerLite to manage emails; their own privacy terms apply to data they process on our behalf.
Third parties
We share data only with the service providers needed to run the business, such as our email provider and our payment provider. Each processes data under its own privacy terms.
Data retention
We keep your email for as long as you remain subscribed or until you ask us to delete it. We keep purchase records for as long as required for tax and accounting purposes.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal data we hold about you, to object to processing, and to request a copy of your data. To exercise any of these, email hello@makemoneymakesense.org.
Cookies
The site uses minimal cookies or similar technologies needed for it to function and, where applicable, for basic analytics. You can control cookies through your browser settings.
